Eater Boston mentions (via a Davis Square LiveJournal post) that Oath Craft Pizza is planning on opening in Davis Square, with a city planning staff report page showing that it may be taking over the space on Elm Street where a Singer sewing machine shop currently resides. (That store is moving to West Cambridge, according to Davis Square LiveJournal.) If the proposal is given the green light, the new location of Oath would join its original on Straight Wharf in Nantucket as well as Boston's South Station (which Oath's CEO says may be the world's smallest pizzeria) and an upcoming shop at Chestnut Hill Square. [Ed note: Now open.]
In August, Oath had been talking about possibly having a "marquee" location in either the Davis Square section of Somerville or in Chestnut Hill, and that a total of eight to ten locations could open in the Boston area by the end of this year.
The address for the new location of Oath Craft Pizza in Davis Square is 280 Elm Street, Somerville, MA, 02144. The website for Oath can be found at http://www.oathpizza.com/
[June 7 update: Eater Boston states that Oath Craft Pizza opens today.]
