Boca Grande in Brookline's Coolidge Corner Has Closed

A local group of Mexican restaurants continues to shrink, with one of its three remaining shops shutting down over the past few days.

According to a poster on the Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook page, Boca Grande in the Coolidge Corner of Brookline closed last week "without warning," with Patrick Maguire of Maguire Promotions & Hospitality Consulting confirming this, sending a picture of a sign out front saying "Boca Grande is closed. Thank you for your patronage." This is the second location of Boca Grande to close recently, as its shop in Brighton Center is now shuttered, and a third location in Boston's Kenmore Square closed back in the summer of 2013. (The only two shops that are left are in Cambridge--one between Porter Square and Harvard Square and the other being across from the Galleria in East Cambridge.)

The address for this now-closed Mexican restaurant in Coolidge Corner was: Boca Grande, 1294 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA, 02446. The website for the two remaining shops is at http://www.bocagranderestaurant.com/
