Strega in Boston's North End Reopens After Renovations

Last month, we reported that one of the best-known restaurants in Boston's North End had shut down for renovations. Now we have learned that it is open once again.

An article from Zagat shows that Strega on Hanover Street has reopened, with the dining spot having opened back up earlier this month. The post says that the restaurant has a refreshed and more modern look and feel to it that includes leather banquettes, chandeliers, and new wine displays.

Nick Varano and the Varano Restaurant Group run Strega in the North End along with Strega Waterfront at Fan Pier, Nico and Rina's Pizzeria & Cafe in the North End, Strip by Strega at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Caffe Strega in the Back Bay, Strega Prime in Woburn, and an upcoming eatery somewhere in Cambridge.

The address for the North End location of Strega is 379 Hanover Street, Boston, MA, 02113. Its website can be found at http://www.stregaristorante.com/
