Wulf's Fish Market in Brookline to Close

An iconic seafood market that has been in business for nearly a century is closing its doors.

The Boston Globe is reporting that Wulf's Fish Market in Brookline is shutting down for good on May 13, with the people behind the shop making plans to shift operations to a facility on the Boston Fish Pier where they will focus on the wholesale end of the business. The article says that Wulf's has such well-known clients on the wholesale side as ABC Kitchen, Daniel, the French Laundry, and Jean-Georges, and that with the new facility, they will be able to supply upscale grocery stores with flash-frozen fish.

Wulf's first opened in Brookline back in 1926.

The address for the soon-to-close Wulf's Fish Market in Brookline is 409 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA, 02446. Its website can be found at http://www.wulfsfish.com/
