Saltie Girl Opens in the Back Bay of Boston June 1

Approximately a year and a half after plans were first announced, it looks like a brand new restaurant in Boston's Back Bay is ready to open.

Eater Boston is reporting that Saltie Girl opens its doors tomorrow (Wednesday, June 1) on Dartmouth Street, taking over the space where the Met's private events space--called Townhouse--had been. Met owner Kathy Sidell is behind the new eatery, with the article from EB saying that the place will focus on seafood, including such items as lobster rolls, bisques and chowders, fried lobster and waffles, and on its late-night menu, tinned fish. Beer, wine, and cocktails will be offered at Saltie Girl, which will include a dining area, a bar, and a raw bar/shucking station.

Kathy Sidell's Met Restaurant Group includes Met locations in the Back Bay, Dedham, Natick, and Nantucket, along with another in Bethesda, MD.

The address for this new restaurant in the Back Bay of Boston is: Saltie Girl, 281 Dartmouth Street, Boston, MA, 02116. Its website will be at http://www.saltiegirl.com/
