PGA Tour Grill Is Replacing Fox Sports Sky Box Bar and Grill at Logan Airport in East Boston

A golf-themed restaurant is coming to Boston, and it is replacing a TV studio-themed sports bar geared toward travelers.

A licensing board page within the City of Boston website indicates that Fox Sports Sky Box Bar and Grill at Logan Airport is petitioning to change its name to PGA Tour Grill, with the hearing taking place this Wednesday (June 8) at City Hall. Based on an article from the PGA Tour site, expect the place to feature upscale, healthy options along with flat-screen TVs featuring live golf from various tournaments around the world. Once it opens, the new dining spot will join others in San Diego, Las Vegas, and Honolulu.

Fox Sports Sky Box Bar and Grill first opened at Logan Airport a bit more than a decade ago.

[June 23 update: According to a Twitter post from Boston Herald food writer @DGoodison, PGA Tour Grill is now open, with a press release saying that it is located at Terminal B by Gate 7. The release also mentions that the dining spot has a "regional twist" that includes such items as roast beef, fish and chips, clam chowder, and more.]
