Bondir in Concord Is Up for Sale

A well-known local chef has decided to put one of his restaurants on the market.

According to several sources, including Peter from The Daily Lunch who emailed us over the weekend, Bondir in Concord is up for sale, with a phone call placed to owner Jason Bond confirming this. Bondir first opened on Walden Street in the fall of 2013, joining the original location on Broadway in Cambridge, which has been in business since 2010. (The Cambridge location will remain open.) Both restaurants are known for their seasonal New American fare using locally-sourced ingredients.

Jason Bond worked at the Beacon Hill Bistro on Charles Street in Boston before opening both locations of Bondir; he has gained national recognition over the years and was once a James Beard Award semi-finalist, according to the James Beard site.

The address for Bondir in Concord is 24 Walden Street, Concord, MA, 01742. Its website can be found at http://www.bondirconcord.com/
