Eater Boston is reporting (via Wicked Local) that Chiharu Sushi & Noodle is planning to open on Boylston Street, with the address indicating that it would take over the former King Fung Garden II space. Wicked Local mentions that the 20-seat place will offer grab-and-go breakfast items while featuring sushi and noodle dishes for lunch and dinner. EB says that the owners are Qun Li, who comes from Haru in Boston's Back Bay and Mix-It in Cambridge, and Mei Pan, who was the owner of the now-closed May's Cafe in Allston.
If all goes as planned, Chiharu Sushi & Noodle could be opening sometime in April.
The address for this new dining spot in Brookline is: Chiharu Sushi & Noodle, 370 Boylston Street (Route 9), Brookline, MA, 02445.
[June 20 update: Eater Boston states that Chiharu Sushi & Noodle is now open.]
