A phone call placed to the spot indicates that Tequila Rain on Lansdowne Street has shut down, confirming a post on its Facebook page that said it was closing. The club, which was part of the Jillian's/Lucky Strike entertainment complex, was known for its "south of the border" vibe along with music and dancing. (Both Jillian's and Lucky Strike remain in operation.)
Tequila Rain first opened its doors more than 12 years ago.
