COJE Restaurant Group (Yvonne's, Ruka, Lolita) Involved in Opening of Matadora in Woburn

The restaurant group behind three well-known Boston dining spots is now working with a suburban hotel in the opening of a brand new restaurant.

According to a job post within the bostonchefs.com site, COJE Management (Yvonne's, Ruka, Lolita) has been working with Hilton Boston Woburn to open Matadora, a new concept that the post says "transcends suburban dining with bespoke design, curated cuisine and an urban sensibility" and will "transform the Woburn area's dining and nightlife scene for years to come." The page also says that COJE will continue to work with the Forbes Road hotel on operations and the food/beverage program once it opens, and it is currently looking to staff the place. (An opening date for Matadora has not yet been given.)

COJE is the parent company of Yvonne's, a modern supper club in Boston's Downtown Crossing; Ruka, a Latin-Asian fusion spot also in the downtown area; and Lolita, a tequila bar in the Back Bay.

[August 3 update: A new job post from bostonchefs.com indicates that Matadora plans to open later this summer, and that it will be a Spanish steak and tapas spot.]

[October 25 update: Eater Boston states that Matadora opens this evening.]
