Figs in Boston's Beacon Hill Is Getting Ready to Reopen

Nearly a year after being hit by a fire, it looks like a Beacon Hill dining spot owned by a celebrity chef is finally preparing to open.

According to a Craigslist post, Todd English's Figs on Charles Street is hosting an open call for all front of house positions on Tuesday, August 1, while sources tell us that construction has been taking place at the restaurant and a note on its site says that it is opening soon. In early October, Figs was hit by a fire in the ductwork that extended up to the roof, which is similar to what happened to another Todd English restaurant in 2010--Olives in Charlestown--with that place never reopening.

Another location of Figs can be found on Main Street in Charlestown.

The address for Figs in Boston's Beacon Hill is 42 Charles Street, Boston, MA, 02114.
