Cook in Newtonville to Be Joined by Second Location in Needham

A casual upscale restaurant in Newton will soon be joined by a second location in a neighboring town.

The Needham Times is reporting that Cook is opening in Needham, taking over the space on Chapel Street where Not Your Average Joe's had been until closing in April of this year. Once it opens, the new location of Cook--which is described by owner Paul Turano as a spot with "Creative-American" food--will join its original location on Washington Street in Newtonville. (Turano had also previously run Tryst in Arlington.)

If all goes as planned, Cook could be opening in Needham by the end of September.

The address for the upcoming location of Cook is 109 Chapel Street, Needham, MA, 02492. The website for the original location can be found at http://cooknewton.com/

[October 6 update: A press release indicates that the new location of Cook in Needham opens tomorrow (Saturday, October 7).]
