Sebastians in Boston's Seaport District Has Closed

A local group of cafes and caterers that once had a number of locations in the Boston area is now down to just two, as its shop by the city's waterfront area has shut down.

According to a source, Sebastians on Seaport Boulevard in the Seaport District is no longer in business, with a check on the company's website seeming to confirm this, as it no longer shows that location. With the closing of this shop, only two locations of Sebastians now remain, including one on Summer Street in the Financial District and another in Cambridge's Kendall Square.

Sebastians, which first started out in 1993 as a catering operation, has shut down a few outlets over the past several years, including on Devonshire Place and High Street in the Financial District and Mass. Ave. near Symphony Hall.

The address for this now-closed cafe in the Financial District was: Sebastians, 157 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA,02210. The website for Sebastians can be found at http://www.sebastians.com/
