Cava Is Opening in Boston's Fenway Neighborhood

Earlier this year, we reported that a growing group of  Mediterranean dining spots based in Washington, D.C. would be expanding to Boston, and now we have learned where one of its locations will be.

According to a press release, Cava is planning to open at 1350 Boylston, a 17-story luxury residential tower that is nearing completion in the Fenway. Once the eatery opens, expect to find such items as tabbouleh, hummus, feta, falafel, spicy lamb meatballs, and grilled chicken, along with soups and grain bowls. If all goes as planned, it looks like Cava will open in the Fenway during the first quarter of 2018, while Boston Magazine mentions that locations are also planned for the Back Bay, Dedham, and Hingham as well.

Other dining spots moving into 1350 Boylston include Tatte Bakery and Cafe and Oath Craft Pizza.

[September 15 update: The Tables section of The Boston Globe mentions that the other locations of Cava will be at 667 Boylston Street by Exeter Street in the Back Bay, Legacy Place in Dedham, and the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham.]

[January 18, 2018 update: Eater Boston states that Cava soft-opens today in the Fenway, with its official opening taking place tomorrow--and that its actual address is 1346 Boylston Street.]
