A Cambridge coffee shop with roots in Worcester has shut down after only a brief time in business, but the group behind it may be opening another spot within its space.
According to an article in Eater Boston, Brew on the Grid on Windsor Street is no longer in operation, with the New England Craft Restaurant Concepts group looking to replace it with Stix Noodle Bar, a fast-casual eatery that offers such items as ramen, soba, curry dishes, and more. The first location of Stix Noodle Bar recently opened in Worcester while a location of Brew on the Grid can also be found in Worcester; as stated earlier, more outlets of Brew on the Grid are in the works for Lynn, Marlborough, and Salem.
New England Craft Restaurant Concepts is also behind Craft Table & Bar in East Boston.
The address for the now-closed Brew on the Grid (and proposed Stix Noodle Bar) is 93 Windsor Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139. The website for the Worcester location can be found at https://www.stixnoodlebar.com/
[August 8 update: An article from masslive.com indicates that plans for Stix Noodle Bar to open in the former Brew on the Grid space in Cambridge have fallen through. (The post also says that Grid Hospitality Group has taken over for New England Craft Restaurant Concepts and is now running the dining spots, though Frank Peace of New England Craft Restaurant Concepts is apparently behind the Marlborough location of Brew on the Grid.)]
