Zest Mediterranean Grille in Boston's Back Bay Has Closed

by Marc Hurwitz

A Mediterranean dining spot in Boston has closed its doors after being in business for approximately four years.

According to an Instagram post from Drew Starr, Zest Mediterranean Grille in the Back Bay has shut down for good, with a sign posted out front at the Boylston Street eatery saying that "We are very sorry to say it, we are closing permanently." No reason has been given as of yet for the shuttering of the restaurant; if we find out any additional information, we will post an update here.

Zest first opened in the summer of 2014, offering counter-service Mediterranean fare such as falafel, hummus, shawarma, moussaka, kebab plates, and more. The space had once been home to a location of Spike's Junkyard Dogs.

The address for this now-closed dining spot in the Back Bay was: Zest Mediterranean Grille, 1076 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02115.
