A couple of years ago, we reported that a Boston brewery was going to be moving to a newer and much larger space. Now we have learned that it has opened in the space, though the grand opening will be taking place later this month.
According to an article from Eater, Trillium Brewing Company opens today on Thomson Place in the city's Fort Point neighborhood, which is within walking distance of its old space on Congress Street. Unlike the original space which simply sold beer to go, the new multi-level space includes a brewery, taproom, restaurant, and retail area, while a roofdeck will be coming once it gets warmer. For now, a preview menu is set up for those dining at the restaurant, while a grand opening will be held on October 29.
A second location of Trillium can also be found on Shawmut Road in Canton, with that space including a taproom.
The address for the new location of Trillum is 50 Thomson Place, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for the company is at http://www.trilliumbrewing.com/
