Another restaurant is coming to a new complex just west of Boston, and this one has its roots in Rhode Island.
According to a press release, Condesa Restaurante Mexicano is planning to open at Arsenal Yards in Watertown, with its menu including food items with influences from Southern Mexico (including the Yucatan), while tequila options from Jalisco will be available. Based on the two locations of the restaurant in Smithfield and West Warwick, such items as flautas, burritos, tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, tostadas, quesadillas, chile relleno, tamales, and tableside guacamole may be offered, while the new eatery will also feature mariachi bands and live Mexican jazz. If all goes as planned, the new location of Condesa could be opening sometime in 2019.
Arsenal Yards will be a mixed-use development located at the site of the old Arsenal Mall in East Watertown, with the complex including retail, office, and residential space. A few restaurants already announced for the place include Shake Shack, Pokeworks, and City Works Eatery and Pour House.
