Poke Bento in Boston's Back Bay Has Apparently Closed

by Marc Hurwitz

It looks like a Back Bay restaurant featuring a food item that has become popular over recent times has closed.

According to a source (Brian Morrison of Noodle Lab), Poke Bento on Boylston Street is shuttered with a sign out front saying "Closing Down" and its last day apparently being yesterday. No reason has been given for its closure, nor is it known what might go into the space, so keep checking back for updates.

Poke Bento, which opened last year in the former Samurai across from the Prudential Center, offered poke (a Hawaiian raw fish salad) as well as such items as bento boxes, sushi burritos, and ramen, as well as cream puffs from Beard Papa's, which was part of the space.

The address for this now-closed dining spot in the Back Bay was: Poke Bento, 827 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02116.
