The Daily Catch in Boston's Seaport District Has Closed

by Marc Hurwitz

[Ed note: This article was updated on November 4 to confirm the fact that this is location has closed for good.]

It looks like a seafood restaurant on the Boston waterfront has shut down.

According to several sources, The Daily Catch at the Moakley Federal Courthouse in the city's Seaport District is closed, and while a note posted by the business approximately 10 days ago indicated that it could be reopening after a week or so, a new note on its website now says that it is closed for renovations and that it will reopen after the new year. No explanation has been given as to what renovations might be taking place, and a message sent to them a week ago has not been answered as of yet, so stay tuned for any updates as they come in.

The Daily Catch, which is known in part for its Sicilian-style seafood dishes, has three other locations, including in Boston's North End, Brookline's Coolidge Corner, and Woodstock, VT.

The address for the Seaport District location of The Daily Catch is 2 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for all locations can be found at http://thedailycatch.com/
