A new dining spot featuring sandwiches and more appears to be on its way to Lower Allston.
According to an article from Universal Hub, Sandwich Schlepper is planning to open on North Harvard Street in an historic building that owner Brian Burke is in the process of fixing up. The post says that Burke, who will be running the eatery with his daughter, is restoring the original tin ceiling within the space along with the exposed brick, and that such items as sandwiches and soups will be sold there. The Boston Licensing Board has given approval for Sandwich Schlepper to open, though no opening date has been given as of yet.
