A growing local group of bakeries and cafes will be opening a second location in downtown Boston, and this one may be moving into an office tower along the northern edge of the city's Financial District.
According to an Instagram post, Tatte Bakery & Cafe is planning to open at One Boston Place on Washington Street (where it meets State Street and Court Street), with that address indicating that it could be taking over the space where a location of Paul Bakery had been, and before that, an Irish pub called Four Green Fields. Once the new outlet of Tatte opens, it will join a nearby location on Summer Street along with shops in Beacon Hill, the Back Bay, the Fenway, the Seaport District, Northeastern University, Cambridge's Kendall Square (three), Harvard Square, and Brookline.
If all goes as planned, the new location of Tatte could be opening sometime in March.
The address for the upcoming location of Tatte at One Boston Place is 201 Washington Street, Boston, MA, 02108. The website for all locations can be found at http://tattebakery.com/
