A New Jersey-based group of Neapolitan pizza spots has closed its sole Boston location.
Earlier this month, we were told by a source (Geoff Wong) that 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza on Court Street was locked up and dark, with a message sent to us by the business at the time indicating that they were dealing with staffing issues and would announce when the shop might reopen. Today, however, we have been told by another source (Chris from Cool City Entertainment) that it has closed for good, with a photo of a sign out front showing that the pizzeria has closed "permanently."
1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza first opened in August of 2017, offering thin-crust pies cooked for approximately two minutes in a 1,000-degree oven. The chain first started out in 2014, according to its website.
The address for this now-closed pizzeria in downtown Boston was: 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza, 45 Court Street, Boston, MA, 02108. The website for the business can be found at https://www.1000degreespizza.com/
