A local group of Mexican restaurants has closed another one of its locations.
According to a source, Acapulcos in Needham is no longer in operation, with a check on the locations page of the restaurant's website showing that the 1st Avenue location is indeed no longer listed. Another location in Framingham closed in 2016 while a Weymouth outlet shuttered a number of years ago; the Needham location had actually been in Newton originally, but it moved approximately 10 years ago. Other locations of Acapulcos--including Boston-area outlets in Beverly, Norwood, Quincy, and Sudbury--remain open.
Acapulcos, which first started out in Sudbury in 2001, is a family-friendly group of Mexican restaurants that offers such options as tacos, burritos, tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, and chimichangas.
The address for the Needham location of Acapulcos was 1 1st Avenue, Needham, MA, 02494. The website for all of the locations can be found at http://acapulcos.net/
