A new dining and drinking spot has opened across from a popular South Shore beach, and the people behind another South Shore restaurant and bar are apparently behind this place.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Nantasket Flatts Kitchen and Bar is now open in Hull, moving into the space on Nantasket Avenue where Rinato Bistro had been, and before that, Bridgeman's, where Paul Wahlberg of Wahlburgers was an Executive Chef for a number of years. The website and Facebook page for the new spot indicate that it offers modern American fare in a casual atmosphere, with the focus being on "apps and handhelds" while also serving full entrees and seasonal seafood specials along with beer, wine, and cocktails.
Based on posts within its Facebook page, Nantasket Flatts has a connection to The Jetty, a restaurant and bar that is located in the Brant Rock section of Marshfield.
The address for Nantasket Flatts is 145 Nantasket Avenue, Hull, MA, 02045. Its website can be found at http://www.nantasketflatts-hull.com/
