What was once a trio of coffee shops will soon be down to just one, as its Cambridge location is shutting down.
According to an article from Eater Boston, BeanTowne Coffee House in Kendall Square is closing on August 1, a bit more than a year after its location on Kneeland Street in Boston shuttered. Once the Cambridge outlet of the coffee shop closes, the only outlet remaining will be in Hampstead, NH.
The Kendall Square location of BeanTowne Coffee House first opened its doors in 1993; the shop was forced to shut down after a fire tore through several storefronts in 2015, with the place opening back up the following year.
