Karma Restaurant Plans to Open at the Burlington Mall

A new restaurant may be on its way to a suburban mall, taking over part of the space where a pizzeria had been--and it would be next to a new pizza spot that opened last month.

According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook page, Karma Restaurant is planning to open at the Burlington Mall, with a letter within the burlington.org site indicating that it would be moving into part of the former Uno's space. (As reported earlier, the other part of that space has been taken over by Pepe's Pizza, a landmark New Haven-based spot that has joined another Boston-area location in Chestnut Hill.) The letter mentions that Karma would be an upscale casual restaurant featuring Asian fare, and that the space would include an outdoor area during the warmer months.

Little else is known about Karma at this point in time, so keep checking back for updates.

[November 14 update: According to a press release, Karma plans to open at the Burlington Mall in 2020, and it will be an Asian fusion spot.]
