A local group of coffee shops has closed its last remaining retail outlet, though its online business will remain in operation.
According to a source, Boston Common Coffee Co. on High Street in Boston's Financial District is shuttered, with its closure following its three other shops that have closed down over the past few years, including on Washington Street in Downtown Crossing, Canal Street in the North Station/West End area, and Salem Street in the North End. A Facebook post from the place confirms this while also saying that its coffee will continue to be available online and at other shops, restaurants, and bars.
