Del Frisco's Grille in Burlington and Chestnut Hill Are Closing

It looks like a small national chain of upscale restaurants is closing two of its Boston-area locations.

According to a source, Del Frisco's Grille in Burlington is shutting down for good, with the last day in operation being October 20. An email sent out to a couple more sources have confirmed this--and we have been told by a worker at the Chestnut Hill location that it will be also closing at the end of business hours on October 20. The closing of the Burlington and Chestnut Hill locations come on the heels of the news that private equity firm L Catterton is selling both Del Frisco's Grille and the more high-end Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse to Landry's; Forbes mentions that the sale is expected to go through around the end of this month,

In addition to the Burlington and Chestnut Hill locations of Del Frisco's Grille, another outlet can be found in Westwood, while two Del Frisco's Grille Double Eagle Steakhouse locations can be found in Boston's Back Bay and Seaport District as well.
