A longtime bakery that is known in part for its custom cakes is on the selling block.
An article from Universal Hub says (via a Facebook post from the business) that Donna's Cakes in West Roxbury is up for sale, with the note from the Spring Street shop saying that "Due to unforeseen family circumstances and after much deliberation, it is with a heavy heart that we have painstakingly decided to sell our family business that has been serving this wonderful community for the past 30 years. We hope to find the right buyer who will love it as much as we do and continue its legacy for many years to come." The post also says that Donna's will remain open until the "right buyer is found," so it looks like the bakery will remain in operation for at least the time being.
In addition to cakes made for a variety of occasions, Donna's Cakes also offers custom cupcakes as well.
