A beloved ice cream company with roots up north is opening a shop within a new complex just west of Boston that will also be home to a number of other dining and drinking spots.
According to a note from The Passionate Foodie, Ben and Jerry's is planning to open at the Arsenal Yards in Watertown, with a Facebook post from the development confirming this, saying that it plans to open sometime later this year. Once it opens, the new shop will join others in and around Boston, including in the Back Bay (two), Faneuil Hall, the Seaport District, Cambridge's Harvard Square, Braintree, and Natick, along with a kiosk by the New England Aquarium--and it will join a handful of restaurants and bars coming to Arsenal Yards as well, including Kura Sushi, The Gallows, Tori Jiro, Pepe's Pizza, Condesa Restaurante Mexicano, Tender Greens, Shake Shack, Pokeworks, and City Works Eatery and Pour House.
