El Jefe's Taqueria Is Opening in Downtown Boston

A Mexican restaurant with two locations--including one in Cambridge--is looking to open a third in the heart of Boston.

According to an article in The Berkeley Beacon, El Jefe's Taqueria is planning to open in a space on Boylston Street in "Little Building," an historic structure that is being renovated by Emerson College. Once it opens, the new eatery will join another in The Garage on Mount Auburn Street in Harvard Square along with a third in Bethlehem, PA.

A few other dining options appear to be on their way to Little Building as well, including an outlet of Garbanzo, a Colorado-based restaurant chain that focuses on Mediterranean food [ed note--now open]; in addition, the Beacon says that "an unspecified bakery and cafe" may be opening in the structure, too.

The website for El Jefe's Taqueria can be found at https://www.eljefestaqueria.com/
