A new place for coffee, baked goods, and more is on its way to Boston, and this spot will cater to commuters.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Melting Sun is planning to open in South Station, with a look at its website indicating that it will be focusing mostly on lighter fare. A check on its menu shows that the upcoming eatery will offer such items as bagels, muffins, croissants, breakfast dishes, soups, salads, and sandwiches while offering an array of hot and iced teas and coffees as well.
It is not yet known when Melting Sun might open, as a sign out front simply says "coming soon."
