A small group of Japanese noodle spots has expanded to Boston, opening within a hotel in a busy section of the city.
According to an Instagram post from the place, Tsurutontan Udon Noodle Brasserie is now open inside the Hotel Commonwealth in Kenmore Square, joining Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar, and The Hawthorne. As reported earlier, the dining spot is known for its udon noodle dishes, while also offering such items as sushi, curry dishes, tempura, rice bowls, and more. The new location of Tsurutontan joins other locations in New York (two) and Hawaii, as well as a handful of locations in Japan, where it was first established.
