A Sampling of Boston-Area Restaurants and Bars Doing Takeout and/or Delivery

Now that restaurants and bars in the Greater Boston area and elsewhere in Massachusetts can only do takeout and/or delivery until what appears to be April 6, a number of dining and drinking spots have started to do so even though they have not been seen as takeout/delivery places in the past. And since there are countless pizzerias, sub shops, fast-food places, Chinese takeout places, bakery-cafes, and other takeout-focused businesses that simply continue doing their usual takeout and/or delivery, instead of listing every single restaurant, bar, and food spot doing so, the list below gives a sampling of some from the former group--that is, restaurants and bars where you might not expect to get to-go food, though some may not quite up-and-running yet, so please call in advance.
