Coda in Boston's South End Has Closed for Good

A cozy neighborhood spot in the South End that is known in part for its comfort food and beer has shut its doors.

According to a source, Coda on Columbus Avenue has closed permanently, with its closing becoming official over the past day or two, and this has just been confirmed by the restaurant this afternoon. We have also been told that SRV in the South End and The Salty Pig in the Back Bay--both of which are under the same ownership--will remain in operation.

Coda first opened in 2007, taking over the space where Tim's Tavern had once been.

The address for Coda was 329 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA, 02116.
