L'Andana in Burlington to Be Replaced by Mooo...

An award-winning suburban restaurant known for its Italian food and extensive wine list is going to be saying farewell, and it will be replaced by a steakhouse from the same restaurant group.

According to multiple sources, including posters on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, L'Andana in Burlington is being replaced by Mooo..., with both restaurants being part of the Columbus Hospitality Group and the latter restaurant having a location in Boston's Beacon Hill. A post from BCAT states that renovations to the Cambridge Street space are expected to begin this later summer, with alterations including turning the function room into three separate dining areas while the front section will be opened up so that it has more room for patrons. (No opening date for the new location of Mooo... has been given as of yet, and L'Andana's outdoor patio remains open for now.)

L'Andana, which first opened in 2007, has received high marks over the years from a number of publications, with Boston Magazine including it among its 50 best restaurants in the Boston area in 2010.

The address for L'Andana (and the upcoming Mooo...) is 86 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA, 01803. The website for the Columbus Hospitality Group can be found at http://columbushospitalitygroup.com/

[December 21. 2021 update: A message from Richard Auffrey of The Passionate Foodie indicates that L'Andana plans to shut down January 1, with an Instagram post from the business saying that Mooo... plans to open in its space in the early spring of 2022.]

[July 11, 2022 update: A Facebook post from the place mentions that the Burlington location of Mooo... hopes to open in the middle of this month.]
