Olivadi in Norwood Has Closed

A casual upscale suburban restaurant that offered modern takes on Italian dishes has closed down.

According to a number of sources, including members of the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Olivadi in Norwood has shut its doors permanently, with a statement from the Guild Street dining spot saying that "like many restaurants, Olivadi has faced unprecedented financial hardship due to the impact of Covid-19. In addition, we are mourning the recent, unexpected passing of our owner and founder, Anthony F. Delapa." The restaurant, which first opened in 2008, offered pizza and pasta dishes along with chicken, veal, and seafood items.

The address for the now-closed Olivadi was 32 Guild Street, Norwood, MA, 02062.
