A Beacon Hill eatery known in part for its sandwiches and pizza has closed down, and a dining spot that features wings has taken over its space.
According to Pravin Pant, who is a member of the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Cafe Podima on Cambridge Street is no longer in operation, and a location of Wingz And Tingz is now open within the space. Based on the menu at its outlet in the Grove Hall section of Boston, expect to see wings with a wide variety of sweet, spicy, and dry rub options, along with tenders, plantains, sweet potato fries, and more. (The website for the business confirms that the Beacon Hill location is now open and that another location is on its way to Bridgeport, CT, while Irie Jamaican Style Restaurant in Dorchester appears to have an ownership connection as well.)
Cafe Podima had been in business for approximately 20 years.
The address for the new location of Wingz And Tingz (and the now-closed Cafe Podima) is 168 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA, 02114. The website for Wingz And Tingz can be found at https://www.wingzandtingz.com/
