Craigie Burger at Time Out Market in Boston's Fenway Has Closed for Good

A burger-focused offshoot of an award-winning restaurant has permanently shut down.

The Tables section of The Boston Globe states that Craigie Burger at Time Out Market in the Fenway section of Boston will not be reopening after being temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent restaurant shutdown. James Beard-winning owner Tony Maws mentions that the coronavirus was the reason for the closure, saying that "It's a precarious situation: It's a market, and what makes that concept so special is the building. With no Red Sox and no students, [the dining spot could not remain in business]."

Craigie Burger first opened in late June of 2019 along with the rest of Time Out Market, with the stall featuring the burgers that Craigie on Main in Cambridge has been known for over the years. The website for that restaurant can be found at https://www.craigieonmain.com/
