A North Shore dining spot that has been known in part for its BBQ and locally-sourced fare is shutting down permanently.
According to a Facebook post from the restaurant, Scratch Kitchen in Salem is closing for good, with the note thanking its customers for their support while also mentioning that some of its equipment will be available for purchase this week. No reason was given for its closure, nor is it known what might go into the Derby Street space; if we find out more over the coming days, we will post an update here.
Scratch Kitchen first opened back in 2011.
