Barlow's Restaurant in Boston's Fort Point Neighborhood Is Apparently Closing for Good

It looks like a Fort Point restaurant that resides in an historic building is shutting down permanently.

According to a tweet from @FortPointer, Barlow's Restaurant on A Street is closing down on Friday, and that the building in which it is housed "was sold months ago." The dining and drinking spot, which has been known in part for its classic and New American fare along with its cocktails, is located in the Frederick Barlow Building which dates back to the late 1800s, and is situated toward the northern edge of the Channel Center complex.

Barlow's first opened its doors back in 2009.

The address for Barlow's Restaurant is 241 A Street, South Boston, MA, 02210.
