A North Shore location of a pair of upscale steakhouses has shut down, and a new restaurant will be moving into its space.
According to a message from @CMFoster23, The Bancroft at the Northshore Mall is no longer in business, with an Instagram post from the place saying that a new concept is moving in this fall. The post refers diners to the Burlington location of The Bancroft, which will remain in operation and will reopen sometime this month.
The Peabody location of The Bancroft first opened its doors in April of 2018; both the Peabody and Burlington restaurants are part of the Webber Restaurant Group, which is also behind the Gibbet Hill Grill in Groton and the Scarlet Oak Tavern in Hingham.
