A new spot that features smoothies and tea is on its way to a Boston neighborhood, and it has a connection to a shop in another part of the city.
According to a Facebook post from Steve Garfield, Oten Surprise is opening on Burroughs Street in Jamaica Plain, with a sign out front saying "Coming Soon! Smoothies, Teas, and Smiles." Another Facebook post indicates that the people behind On The Edge Nutrition in South Boston are opening the new place, which is where the name "Oten" comes from.
On The Edge Nutrition, which is located on Old Colony Avenue, is open for pickup or delivery; it is not yet known if Oten Surprise will have a similar setup, so stay tuned for updates.
