It looks like another local music venue has shut down, at least for the time being.
According to members of Mark Skin Radio who sent us messages about it this afternoon, The C Note in Hull's Nantasket Beach area has closed, with a Facebook page from one of the people involved with the place confirming this, saying that the Nantasket Avenue spot "has heard its final note thanks to Covid19. It was a struggle to hang on any longer....Thank you all for supporting live music. Keep doing it wherever you go!" (A post from the club itself has now gone up as well, thanking its customers and staff along with musicians who have played at and supported the place over the years.) The music club has been a popular spot for both local and national acts over the years, including all kinds of live music from rock to jazz to blues and more. (The C Note had formerly been called the Sea Note, with an ownership change taking place a bit more than 10 years ago.)
The address for the C Note was 159 Nantasket Avenue, Hull, MA, 02045.

[August 1, 2021 update: The C Note is open once again, having been saved by fundraisers, benefit concerts, and the sale of merchandise.]
