Volturno Pizza Space in Framingham Is For Lease

A location of a wood-fired pizzeria in the western suburbs remains closed as the pandemic continues, and now the future of the place is in question.

According to a couple of sources, Volturno Pizza is still shuttered after closing temporarily back in March, and there is now a "Space Available" sign in the window of the Edgell Road eatery. We have reached out to Volturno and are waiting to hear back, including to find out whether the restaurant could possibly reopen in another space.

The Framingham location of Volturno Pizza first opened in September of 2017, joining its original location in Worcester; both places have been known for their Neapolitan thin-crust pizza along with pasta dishes, brick chicken, bruschetta, arancini, and more.

The address for Volturno Pizza in Framingham is 1 Edgell Road, Framingham, MA, 01701. The website for both locations can be found at https://www.volturnopizza.com/

[October 8 update: We attempted to reach out to Volturno Pizza last week about the status of the Framingham location but never heard back, but it does appear that the location has closed for good, as it has been removed from the website while a Framingham Forward article from over the summer mentioned that it will not be reopening.]
