A longtime Mediterranean steakhouse just south of Boston has expanded to a second location further down on the South Shore.
According to food/drinks writer and publicist Kerry Byrne, Alba on 53 opens for dinner this evening in Hanover, with the Washington Street spot joining its original location on Hancock Street in Quincy Center. The new restaurant will also be a Mediterranean steakhouse that offers a variety of steak and seafood dishes along with pasta, beer, wine, cocktails and more, while also having dishes unique to this location and that include Arab and Eastern Mediterranean influences.
The original Alba in Quincy is known in part for its enormous roof deck that includes a garden where herbs and produce are grown.
The address for the new location of Alba on 53 in Hanover is 2053 Washington Street (Route 53), Hanover, MA, 02339. Its website can be found at https://www.albaon53.com/
