Puritan Provisions Opens in Cambridge's Inman Square

A Cambridge restaurant that is known in part for its regional fare has been joined by a takeout spot.

Eater Boston is reporting (via an Instagram post) that Puritan Provisions is opening today in Inman Square in a space next to Puritan & Company, with a menu from the walk-up storefront showing that it will be open Thursday through Sunday and offering such items as bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, cookies, and more, along with market items such as hummus, green chili sauce, truffle butter, and pickles--and bake-at-home meals such as bbq chicken and eggplant parmesan. The store, whose space has previously been used for events, storage, and takeout (during the pandemic), offers both takeout service by ordering at the shop or by pre-ordering items online.

Puritan & Company first opened in Inman Square in 2012.

The address for Puritan Provisions is 1166 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139.
