Dumpling Garden Opens in Former Hoya Chinese, Sushi & Teriyaki Space in Saugus

A Chinese restaurant on the North Shore that is known in part for its dumplings has expanded to a second location, taking over the space where a Chinese and Japanese dining spot had been until closing this summer.

According to a message sent from Richard Auffrey of The Passionate Foodie, Dumpling Garden is now open in the old Hoya Chinese, Sushi & Teriyaki space in Saugus, with the Essex Street eatery joining another location in Danvers. The menu for the new Dumpling Garden shows a variety of traditional Chinese and Chinese-American dishes, including an array of house-made dumplings and buns.

Hoya offered a wide variety of Chinese and Chinese-American fare along with sushi, bento boxes (including teriyaki options), noodle soups, and more until closing in July.

The address for the new Dumpling Garden in Saugus is 467 Essex Street, Saugus, MA, 01906. Its website can be found at http://www.dgsaugus.com/
