A restaurant and bar that resided within a post of an American veterans' organization has shut down.
According to a source, Liberty Publick House in Holbrook is no longer in business, with a Facebook post from the place confirming that it closed over the weekend and saying "To the loyal patrons who have supported us through the years; we thank you for being apart of our Liberty Crew! We wouldn't have made it this far without you. Please take care, be safe, and drink wisely.!" The dining and drinking spot first opened in early 2018 within an American Legion post on Route 139 by the Abington Line, with the place offering mostly pub grub and comfort food such as wings, burgers, steak tips, fish and chips, pizza, hot dogs, and more.
The address for the now-closed Liberty Publick House (and the American Legion post) is 777 Plymouth Street (Route 139), Holbrook, MA, 02343.
